The Alabama Fightback School will bring rank-and-file workers and community members into conversation to:
- Understand how federal and state government assaults are affecting working people in your region
- Name the bosses and billionaires in your region capitalizing on attacks against workers
- Assess the power you will need to push back against these bosses
- Make plans for actions that build this power within unions and community organizations
When: Saturday Nov 1, 2025, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Central
Where: United Steelworkers Local 351L Hall, 1923 Culver Rd, Tuscaloosa, AL
Registration is FREE
This gathering aims to kickstart ongoing cross-union organizing across Alabama, to help all of us to win locally and strengthen our muscles to, together, take on the national struggle.
We especially encourage rank-and-file union members and not-yet-union workers to attend. whether you're new to organizing or a longtime steward. Community activists from member-led organizations are welcome to participate as well.
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
