Join Labor Notes and labor activists from around the area to strategize, share skills, and learn ways to organize to win.

Troublemakers Schools are day-long mini-conferences that cover organizing skills and highlight real-world examples of taking on the boss - and winning. Whether you’re new to union activism or are an experienced union activist, there’s something there for you!

When: Saturday, October 19, 2024, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where: UAW Region 9 Hall, 35 George Karl Blvd # 100, Buffalo, NY 14221

Registration fee
(covers event registration, lunch, printed materials, interpretation and childcare.):
$55 - Registration plus a HALF OFF one-year subscription to Labor Notes
$40 - Regular registration
$15 - Low-income/student rate registration (choose if you need)

10:45am - 12:15pm: Workshops I
12:15pm - 1:45pm: Lunch // Breakout groups by sector
1:45pm - 3:15pm: Workshops II
3:15pm - 3:30pm: Break
3:30pm - 4:30pm: Closing session
5:00pm - 7:00pm: Troublemakers Social (Bar-Bill North)

Due to lack of interest, there is not currently childcare scheduled. If you or someone in your group will need childcare, please contact Sarah at sarah[at]labornotes[dot]org or 718-284-4144 immediately, but we can't guarantee it.

Accessibility:
Given the persistence of COVID-19, we strongly encourage participants to take a rapid test before attending and stay home if you are sick (refunds available). Masking is encouraged and supported, but not required.
