Pamphlets in the Fight Against Taft-Hartley 1947-1948

The 'Perfect Crime' From the Early Days of Taft-Hartley: The Holt Labor Library has found some old-fashioned cartoons and pamphlets from the California CIO around the time the anti-labor Taft-Hartley bill was passed in 1947. One pamphlet said, "Common pickpockets are frowned upon in decent society. That's why it take something fancy, and even downright unreadable, like the Taft-Hartley law to make thievery appear respectable."
