Join us for UCORE's 2024 conference.
This is an invite-only conference for members of caucuses in PreK-12 education unions. UCORE is a national network of PreK-12 educator caucuses whose members share strategies, workshop challenges, and support each other as we work to transform our unions. Some UCORE caucuses have been active for more than ten years. Others are just getting started. Some hold leadership positions within their unions. Others are 'being the union they want their union to be.' If you'd like to invite educators you know in other districts or regions, please notify Barbara Madeloni (barbara[at]labornotes[dot]org).
WHEN: The UCORE conference will be on the April 19, 2024 - the first day of the Labor Notes conference.
WHERE: Hyatt Regency O'Hare, Rosemont, IL
NO COST: There is no cost for the UCORE conference. But you do need to register for the Labor Notes conference, which you can do by going here.
REGISTRATION: Please register separately for the UCORE conference by completing this form so that we can anticipate and plan for who will be in attendance.
SCHOLARSHIPS: Funds are available to support travel to the conference. Applications for travel scholarships will be reviewed on February 15, 2024. Go here to complete the application.
