Student debt is only one of the crises facing higher education. Under the myth of austerity, public higher education has been underfunded and driven to take on debt. Debt now constitutes significant portions of campus budgets, and debt-serving fees cost students thousands of dollars a year and deprive them and campus workers of the funds they need.
Join Labor Notes and members of the Public Higher Education Workers network as we expose how campus debt undermines our campuses. Develop the skills and strategies to organize to end campus debt. »

The sessions will run Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00pm ET (4:00-6:00pm PT) on August 10, 17, 24, and 31. »
This series of three workshops is being offered through the Hudson Valley Area Labor Federation. Registration is limited to union and community members from the Hudson Valley.
The three sessions will run on Thursdays, July 8, 15 and 22 from 7 - 9 PM.
Cost is $10.00 for the entire series.
